This Privacy Policy explains how Mentark Tech Private Limited (“Mentark Tech”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with HotelBarDost (the “HotelBarDost POS” software) and the website hotelbardost.com (the “Website”).

HotelBarDost is designed as an offline Windows desktop application. Your business records — bills, orders, inventory, purchases, sales, customer Khata information, staff/user information, settings, reports, and excise-related records — are stored locally on your own computer, not on our servers.
You are responsible for ensuring your business data is accurate, for securing your computer, and for maintaining access to your device. We do not routinely receive or store your POS business data. We may access parts of it only if you voluntarily share it with us for support.
To provide and activate the software, process purchases, provide customer support, troubleshoot problems, maintain security, communicate service information, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not sell personal data for advertising purposes.
We share information only where necessary — for example with service providers, payment processors, hosting or infrastructure providers, and support providers — and with legal or regulatory authorities where required by law. We do not engage in third-party advertising-data sharing that does not exist.

Because HotelBarDost is an offline desktop product and your business data is stored locally on your computer, the primary control over that data remains with you. No system is “100% secure” or “completely secure,” and we do not make that claim.
